How Beerschot uses Leadto to expand its business club
Koninklijke Beerschot Voetbalclub Antwerpen, or Beerschot for short, is a Belgian football club from Antwerp. The club was founded in 1899 and plays its home matches at the Olympic Stadium, located in the Kiel district. Beerschot has a rich history with seven national titles and plays in the highest league in Belgium.
Before Leadto
Leadto got in touch with Beerschot's Commercial Manager through their proprietary software. After successful collaborations with football clubs in the Netherlands, Leadto believed their solution could also be effective in Belgium. At Beerschot, they ran into the same challenge: it was becoming increasingly difficult to get in touch with the right decision-makers within companies in Antwerp. After promotion to the top league, the club had ambitious plans and a great need for new sponsors. However, the Commercial Manager, with a wide range of responsibilities, had little time to focus on cold acquisition.
With Leadto
In cooperation with Leadto's Customer Success department, Beerschot focused on approaching business owners in the Antwerp region. The focus was on making appointments to present Beerschot's ambitious plans, as well as promoting the added value of the Young Business Club to younger businesses. This focused approach resulted in more than 30 appointments within just five months, including new sponsors who completed their partnership within 24 hours fully administratively
